On April 22, 2020, NPR reported the US CoVid19 death tally at 46,583.
This startling figure includes data from the first four months of 2020.

Every American has been impacted by this despicable disease. 
That said, the statement made by some officials that CoVid 19 is now the leading cause of death in the US is false. And misleading.

The National Safety Council (NSC) reports the leading causes of US deaths in 2018:
  1. heart disease - 655,381
  2. cancer - 599,274
  3. preventable injuries (as in auto accidents, falls, etc.) - 167,127

Under the heading “Morbidity and Mortality Weekly,” the US Center for Disease and Prevention (CDC) reported:

“A total of 623,471 abortions for 2016 were reported to CDC from 48 reporting areas. Among these 48 reporting areas, the abortion rate for 2016 was 11.6 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years, and the abortion ratio was 186 abortions per 1,000 live births.”

More black men, women and children have lost their lives to senseless violence since the political party, "Black Lives Matter," succeeded in its power grab. The American standard as set forth in The Declaration of Independence is, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men (women and children) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness . . .
