Word of the Year

Hi Helen, 

Thank you for sharing your "word of the year" ritual.

This "small and simple thing" requires zero attention to resolutions, plans, deadlines, manuals, schedules or endless "To Do" lists.

My word for 2021 was easy to choose. 

It's "Peace."

As this word "plays out" in my thoughts, words and deeds, it's certain to bless me and others, too!

"Love One Another"

More black men, women and children have lost their lives to senseless violence since the political party, "Black Lives Matter," succeeded in its power grab. The American standard as set forth in The Declaration of Independence is, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men (women and children) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness . . . " The Civil War carved this edict into the heart of America at the cost of 618,222 - 750,000 lives.* Racism destroys, no matter who, where or when it is allowed to fester.
