Each and All of Us Belong

Being invited to unite in a worldwide fast feels like a gift rather than a task.
We may pray and fast alone, but knowing that Jesus Christ's Atonement and Resurrection reach each and all of us reaffirms to me that I belong. It feels holy to participate.

“For all whose health may permit, let us fast, pray, and unite our faith once again,” said President Russell M. Nelson (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in his Saturday evening general conference address. “Let us prayerfully plead for relief from this global pandemic.
“I invite all, including those not of our faith, to fast and pray on Good Friday, April 10, that the present pandemic may be controlled, caregivers protected, the economy strengthened, and life normalized.”

"Love One Another"

More black men, women and children have lost their lives to senseless violence since the political party, "Black Lives Matter," succeeded in its power grab. The American standard as set forth in The Declaration of Independence is, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men (women and children) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness . . . " The Civil War carved this edict into the heart of America at the cost of 618,222 - 750,000 lives.* Racism destroys, no matter who, where or when it is allowed to fester. "Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson
