The Pledge of Allegiance - Only Better

While volunteering in a grandchild's kindergarten class recently, I enjoyed a new version of the Pledge of Allegiance as recited by the darling five-year-old standing next to me:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. You may be seated."

"Love One Another"

More black men, women and children have lost their lives to senseless violence since the political party, "Black Lives Matter," succeeded in its power grab. The American standard as set forth in The Declaration of Independence is, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men (women and children) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness . . . " The Civil War carved this edict into the heart of America at the cost of 618,222 - 750,000 lives.* Racism destroys, no matter who, where or when it is allowed to fester. "Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
